Positive: Our room had a very nice view on the lake. The owners were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious.

Negative: We found it difficult to find the location of this guesthouse. Compared to other five star accommodations we stayed in during our Turkey holidays, the price of Fi SALDA was definitely too high. Also, it could have been made clearer that payment preference was in cash, as we came with only credit card and closest ATM was 15kms away.

Summary: Good view, clean and comfortable room, friendly owners - but overpriced.

Positive: Fantastic place! Beautiful room, well equipped, very clean. The view of Lake Salda is amaising from the balcony of the room. The owners welcome us as family! The breakfast was amaising, prepared with home made bread and cookies every morning!!! It smelled divine! By the way, as it is located inaltitude, by 1300m, the temperature in summer is perfect: by 30°C during the day and by 16-18°C during the night and you sleep well. So you avoid the high temperature of the sea side and having the magnificent Maldives like Lake Salda at your feet. We highly recommend.

Positive: One of the best places I have ever stayed. Amazing view and rooms and the family is very friendly and hospitable. Helped us to feel very welcome. The breakfast was really good too. Can highly recommend this hidden gem to get a bit closer to Turkey.

Positive: We stayed three nights at Fi Salda. The area around the lake is of course beautiful and we are glad to have “discovered” it. Our stay was excellent. The room was very clean, comfortable and everything in the room worked. Our hosts were most welcoming, warm, and drinking a few cups of Turkish tea with them after dinner was a delight. Although we do not speak Turkish and they don’t speak English, we managed to have interesting conversations using translation apps on our phones. We chose to eat in every night and were presented with wonderful home cooking; it is not often one gets to eat at home when travelling in another country. Much of the fresh produce was grown in the Fi Salda garden. Overall, this is an upmarket B & B with extras thrown in. We were lucky to find Fi Salda and would happily recommend the area and Fi Salda.

Negative: It would be good if the directions to the hotel were clearer; a map for the last few meters would be useful.
